Most people we clean for are the first generation in their family to own a solar system. There is no manual for what maintenance it actually needs, and plenty of people are happy to sell you things it does not.

So we explain as we go. By the time we leave you should know how dirty your panels really were, how fast they get that way at your address, and roughly when to call us again.

Your warranty has conditions

Most manufacturers require reasonable maintenance to keep a panel warranty valid. If a claim ever comes up, being able to show the array has been cared for matters. It is an unglamorous reason to keep panels clean, and it is a real one.

Efficiency you actually paid for

Modern panels convert far more of the light that hits them than the first generation did — which is precisely why blocking that light is more expensive now than it used to be. You paid for the good glass. Dirt on top of it is money left on the roof.
